Board of Trustees Meetings

Meeting on February 21, 2007
Kevin will begin working 20 more hours per week with VC beginning March 1, and will decrease his hour at the body shop from 40 per week to 20. He'll be giving more attention to budget management, to the Sunday gathering as a face to the neighborhood, and to supporting the building team. Owen and Dave will begin raising support for Kevin's compensation. Approval was given to Owen to get his 2 front teeth capped with gold, the right tooth with the letter V and the left with the letter C ....... just kidding.

Meeting on December 9, 2006

The main topic for discussion was the 2007 budget. VC’s budget is broken down into 3 budgets: The operating budget which the house church’s each contribute toward monthly, the weekly gathering budget which operates from Sunday contributions, and the Art Co-op budget which comes from rent paid by the studio artists. The Board approved three budgets for 2007. These will be available for online viewing shortly, but first the Board is preparing a written explanation of the budgets to make public, to help everyone better understand how funds are spent. The board also discussed building maintenance issues and a working relationship with Rebuild Home Renewal which is owned by Tom Parker and Jonathan Hicks. The Board will meet again in late February.
